Strengthening Climate Resilience through Knowledge Exchange – CRI course

From October 20–23, the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management had the pleasure of hosting the fourth Climate Risk Insurance (CRI) Product Development Training course. This year, 20 professionals from 10 countries came together to advance their knowledge in climate and disaster risk insurance, exchanging valuable experiences and insights on tackling the complex challenges of climate change.

We sincerely thank all participants for their dedication and active engagement throughout the course. Special appreciation goes to our panelists Nadica Jovanovska Boshkovska, Conor Donaldson, and Jonathan Gonzalez; and trainers Dr. Annette Detken, Dr. Gero Michel, Dr. Simon Wild, Dr. Arun Rana, Josh Ling, Olga Mursajew, Laura Schäfer, Emma Karhan, and Eliot Pernet, whose expertise provided invaluable guidance on current trends and the future of climate and disaster risk insurance. Their contributions greatly enriched the dialogue on strengthening resilience in the face of climate risks.

We also extend our gratitude to the Frankfurt School Sustainable World Academy for their continued support in organising this event.

As we reflect on another successful gathering, we look forward to continuing to nurture this vibrant community of professionals and partners committed to building capacity and enhancing climate resilience in developing and emerging countries. Here’s to continued collaboration and innovative solutions in the years ahead!
