Enhancing Climate Resilience through Knowledge Exchange

From September 17th to 20th, the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management had the pleasure of hosting our third Climate Risk Insurance – Product Development Training course. This year, 25 professionals from 12 countries gathered to deepen their expertise in climate and disaster risk insurance, sharing valuable experiences and insights on addressing the complex challenges posed by climate change.

We extend our sincere thanks to all participants for their dedication and active contributions throughout the course. A special appreciation goes out to our Keynote Speaker Dr Manuela Glass; our panelists Sinja Buri, Dipankar Munshi and Neha Batra; and our trainers Dr. Annette Detken, Dr. Gero Michel, Dr. Simon Wild, Dr. Arun Rana, Josh Lin, Emma Karhan and Simon Schwall who provided invaluable guidance on the current trends and the future of climate and disaster risk insurance. Their expertise and perspectives continue to enrich the dialogue on how to enhance resilience in the face of climate risks. Finally, many thanks to the Frankfurt School Sustainable World Academy for their continued support in coordinating this event.

As we look back on yet another successful gathering, and ISF’s 5th anniversary, we are excited to continue fostering this growing community of professionals and partners, dedicated to strengthening climate resilience and building capacity in developing and emerging countries. Here’s to more collaborative efforts and innovative solutions in the years to come!
